Post Wedding Adventure Session Brandywine Falls Whistler // Lindsay + Jason

Post Wedding Waterfall Adventure Session

Last Summer Lindsay and Jason decided to forego the more common engagement session for a Post-Wedding Adventure Session.  A week after their wedding day I woke up at 5am to meet them near Whistler to start the hike into Brandywine Falls Provincial Park at sunrise. These two are incredibly adventurous and we instantly connected over our shared love of travelling, hiking, landscape photography (Jason is a talented photographer himself) and of course, stunning waterfalls. They had packed up their wedding attire from the week before into backpacks and changed at the base of the falls (good thing we were there well before everyone else!) It was a gorgeous summer morning and the park was calm and quiet. We ended up spending over an hour at the base of the falls taking pictures and enjoying the soft spray off from the roaring falls.

Having a location all to yourself is one of the perks of getting up at the crack of dawn to shoot.  If you are planning a session at a popular location I suggest trying to get there before the crowds!

Post-Wedding Sessions are some of my favourite to shoot, as there is no pressure, we can take our time getting some epic shots and we can go to more remote locations that are more difficult to get to than on the wedding day.  This is also a great option if you’re worried about getting your clothes dirty before the big celebration.  I am now offering discounted Post-Wedding Sessions as an add on to all my full coverage packages, please contact me if you have any questions about how these sessions typically work and want to learn more.

Thanks for being down to explore (and wake up before dawn) with me Lindsay and Jason!

If you are thinking about doing an adventure session in a unique location, I would love to chat with you!
